Many tournaments held at StoneRidge recruit sponsors to assist with event expenses. You may have a sponsor for the entire event or a portion of the event, such as lunch, dinner, or on-course beverages.
The most common form of sponsorship is a Hole or Tee Sponsor. We want your event to be a total success and realize your sponsors are an important part of that endeavor. For tournament day operations to flow smoothly, it’s important that we know your plans for sponsors and their needs.
Typically, a sponsor will be recognized by some kind of signage on the tee. If you are providing that yourself, then we will need those signs the day prior to your event. If that is all your sponsor needs, then the guidelines below really do not apply.
Some sponsors, however, wish to do something more than just a sign and have some kind further representation on the course. Towards that end we’ve developed these guidelines for you to look over and share with your sponsors. Often times, your sponsor is actually playing in the event so we want to make sure proper planning allows them to enjoy the golf and not worry about the details. If you like, a StoneRidge representative will contact each of your sponsors to better coordinate their needs and further enhance the StoneRidge Tournament Experience.
If a sponsor plans on having their representatives on the course we need to know one week in advance.
StoneRidge cannot supply tables and/or chairs to locations on the course. We suggest sponsors bring lawn chairs and a small card table. We will provide the transportation of the furniture and representatives to the hole.
If your sponsor would like a golf cart, they can rent one for $35. Again, we need one weeks notice to make sure we have enough carts for your players and the sponsors.
We do not allow any carry-ins. If a sponsor would like to provide food and/or drink, Amanda Brown, our Director of Catering and Events, will accommodate their requests. Amanda can be reached at 651-436-4653 ext. 8.
Sponsors may bring their signage the day of the event. StoneRidge will gladly answer any questions concerning signage type and placement of large banners. Please ask your sponsors to contact Head Golf Professional Scott Cole, at 651-436-4653.
Signage will be gathered by StoneRidge staff and made available for sponsors or tournament affiliates to take after the event; anything that is not claimed the day of the event will be discarded.
StoneRidge is not responsible for signs or banners that are left behind
